This activity brings together pupils’ knowledge in the form of a fun and interactive card game. It provides them with a creative way to recall their knowledge and can enable the development of their speaking and listening skills.
Pupils will learn how to justify their ideas and opinions by matching habitats and plants together whilst working in teams. Their is an opportunity to develop the activity further and for them to create their own version, possibly incorporating ICT skills.
The topics covered include plants and their habitats and features that make plants suited to each environment.
