How can I ensure validity in my experiment? The tomatoes ripen at different rates, the quantity of skin on each tomato is different and also different tomatoes are used for each different day that I take results for.
Also can you tell me how long the pigments extracted from the tomato skin will last for?
My final question is could acetone be used instead of 100% ethanol and what are the reasons for use of 100% ethanol?
